Chewy 35 years (Goffin's Cockatoo) and Oliver 45 + years(Greater African Vasa Parrot) live in the same cage. We've had them for over 30 years. Chewy is a scaredy bird when it comes to anything new. She sometimes won't go to the side of the cage where a new toy is for 2 or 3 days. But when we got the Chunky Monkey Chewy is loving it from the minute it was put in her cage. It's been 4 days since they got it and now I'm going to have to order some new ones in a couple weeks. Chewy is a plucker but I'm starting to see some new feather growth.
